Stories of Hope

The Next Door Recovery has served over 17,000 women since it was founded in 2004. Our Stories of Hope highlight TNDR alumni who are thriving in their recovery and demonstrate how beautiful life can be beyond addiction.

How We Help

Our Services

It is important for women to detox and start their recovery journey in a safe environment – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We offer both Medically Monitored Detox and Residential Treatment for women struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Our 28-day program explores the underlying issues of mind, body, and spirit that are associated with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental illness, and trauma.
The Next Door’s outpatient services give women the opportunity to participate in intensive treatment during the day and practice recovery in their everyday life. This provides clients the chance to discuss relapse triggers as they occur and develop coping skills to combat them. After clients step down from inpatient treatment, our outpatient programs can provide continued counseling, peer support, mental health medication management or other treatment services.
The Next Door Recovery Chattanooga Re-Entry Center is a 9-month transitional living program that provides gender-specific treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders in a therapeutic community setting. Women on probation and parole are empowered for successful re-entry into their communities by offering a holistic approach to meet individual needs in an environment of faith and healing at no cost and without program fees.

What Makes Us Unique

We believe, in order to set women up for success in recovery, we must treat both substance use and mental health disorders simultaneously. We understand each woman has a unique set of needs, so our expert staff work closely with clients to provide comprehensive care that maximizes the full potential of dual diagnosis treatment.

A woman’s spiritual health is a vital part of her overall wellness. While at The Next Door Recovery, clients learn spiritual practices that can strengthen their connection to God and nurture their spiritual health. As a faith-based treatment center, we want our clients to know that they are created in the image of God and deeply loved by God. We meet women wherever they are spiritually, modeling God’s love for them through our words and actions.

Women have gender-specific needs and goals when participating in addiction treatment. Gender-specific treatment addresses these needs to ensure women receive the most comprehensive treatment possible in a safe and supportive setting.

Pregnant Women

The Next Door Recovery is committed to walking alongside pregnant women struggling with addiction. TNDR is one of the only facilities in the Southeast that accepts women up to 38 weeks in gestation in all levels of care.
