About Songwriters Night
Join us for The Next Door Recovery’s 9th Annual Songwriters Night on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 from 5-8 p.m. at iconic The Bluebird Café (4104 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215).
Purchase Tickets
Experience one of Nashville’s most beloved musical traditions at an intimate evening of songs and storytelling benefiting The Next Door Recovery. Three acclaimed Nashville songwriters will perform together “in the round,” taking turns playing songs they’ve written and sharing the stories, inspiration, and moments behind the music.
Unlike a traditional concert, Songwriters Night offers a rare opportunity to hear the songs you know in the voices of the people who created them. With the songwriters seated together in the middle of the room and guests gathered around them, the evening unfolds through music, conversation and storytelling, creating a relaxed and personal experience where no two performances are quite the same.
Guests will enjoy an unforgettable night at the iconic Bluebird Cafe while supporting The Next Door Recovery and helping provide hope, healing, and a path toward lifetime recovery for women in our community.
Andrea Overby Volunteer of the Year Award

At this year’s Songwriters Night, The Next Door Recovery will recognize the recipient of the 2nd Annual Andrea Overby Volunteer of the Year Award, honoring an individual whose faithful service and commitment embody the spirit of volunteerism that has been part of TNDR since its earliest days.
The award was established in 2025 by Tom Beasley in honor of Andrea Overby, one of The Next Door Recovery’s original “Wild Praying Women”—the group of women whose faith, prayer, determination and compassion helped lay the foundation for what would become The Next Door Recovery.
Andrea has faithfully served TNDR from the very beginning and remains a committed part of the organization today. The award bearing her name celebrates that legacy by recognizing a volunteer who demonstrates the same heart for service, steadfast commitment and belief in the women of The Next Door Recovery.
